Great news, unlimited members, and just you as a Realtor! You own the referral group, and membership is dependent upon providing you one referral each year. You get to vet, interview, and select each member for the group. If they don’t provide referrals, you can discontinue their membership at the end of the year.

BNI allows only one industry peer per group, so one insurance agent, one general contractor, one financial planner, and so forth. This is good in that there is only one Realtor per group, however, group sizes rarely exceed 10 members. Even if 50% of the referral group gives you a referral, then that’s still only 5 referrals, and not all referrals close.
